Online Conferences


Several People First and other self advocacy groups from around the world are meeting online on a regular basis to speak to each other.

We use chat, voice and video programmes which are easy to use once they are set up. These programmes are usually free!

We have lots of volunteering options for people interested in supporting this work. More information about this can be found on our Volunteering Web Page.

We run a mailing list called Onlinecomm which is for people especially interested in online communications amongst people with learning difficulties. It is a mailing list were people can share their experiences of what works, what problems they are having and news of online events. It is a specific mailing list around online issues rather than general self advocacy issues which are covered on the Usupport and Speak-up mailing lists.
